On Monday, February 20th, there was a lot of cassoulet going on. At the third annual Cassoulet Warsin New York City, hosted by D'Artagnan Foods, 22 leading chefs, including Guillaume Ginther (Le Coq Rico), Kyle Koenig (Craft), Anita Lo (Annisa), and Doug Psaltis (RPM Steak), competed in a cassoulet "cook-off" benefiting Action Against Hunger. There were awards for the “Best Authentic Cassoulet” and the “Best Creative Cassoulet” judged by a panel that included chef and TV host Sara Moulton, and chefs Andre Soltner, Laurent Tourondel, Jean-Louis Dumonet, and Philippe Bertineau.
