Jeff Gaal, Headquarter Financial Comptroller

Before joining Action Against Hunger as the New York office’s Financial Comptroller, Jeff worked as Comptroller or Internal Auditor for a number of NGO and not-for-profit organizations. Including, The Population Council, Engender Health, The Conference of NGO's at the UN (CONGO), Middle Eastern Natives Training Orientation and Referral Services (MENTORS), Research Action & Information Network for the Bodily Integrity of Women (RAINBO) and Banyan Global. He is a native New Yorker, earning his BBA in Accounting from Pace University. His work has enabled him to visit over 30 countries auditing and reviewing the financial procedures and internal controls of offices, programs and sub-recipient activities for USAID and the companies he has worked for. He holds the professional designation of Certified Tax Professional. He is also a member of Private Agency's Collaboration Together (PACT) and the Cooperating Agencies Audit Working Group (CAAWG).
