Water and HIV: Working for Positive Solutions

This report paints a vivd picture of the water and sanitation needs of individuals and households affected by HIV/AIDS in Zambia. The points made clearly in this paper, based on detailed research, include many of the general issues that have been promoted as good practice in the water and sanitation sector for at least twenty years. Lastly, this paper is a useful and striking addition to the limited literature on this important subject. 

Local Voices: A Community Perspective On HIV and Hunger in Zambia

This report documents the findings of Local Voices, a six month research project that provided HIV orphans, vulnerable children and their caretakers with the opportunity to voice the difficulties they face providing food, water and healthcare for their families. Through detailed interviews and discussions, the project carried out a dialogue with 20 families from four areas of Zambia.
