Local Woman Skis to Fight Hunger

"Miller pitched her ski descent idea to G Movement, the philanthropic partnership between sports drink company Gatorade and Action Against Hunger, an international organization geared toward ending hunger worldwide. Miller has raised more than $1,000 for Action Against Hunger while training for her endeavor. Once she hit that initial goal, she decided she could do more. “My original goal was $1,000 and we hit that, so I was like, ‘We should make it $5,000,’ she says."
