'I'm so excited to hang out with one of my Beliebers': Pop prince Justin auctions off the chance to meet him as fundraiser for the Typhoon-hit Philippines

December 5, 2013

"After months of being dogged by controversy, Justin Bieber is doing his bit for charity - and raising funds for the Philippines by giving fans a chance to 'hang out' in the studio and watch him record new music. The 19-year-old pop prince announced the charity effort for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan by saying: 'Everyone knows I've got the best fans in the world. 'So the moment I heard about the tragedy a few weeks back, I knew I could count on you guys to make a difference.' In the wake of Typhoon Haiyan, Bieber is now partnering with Prizeo to raise vital funds for the relief effort. Bieber adds: 'I'm doing something I've never done before: for just a tiny donation to the relief effort, you'll be automatically entered for a chance to hang out with me in the studio early next year and watch me record some new music.' Money raised will benefit UNICEF, Action Against Hunger and Philam Foundation, which are assisting in the relief effort."
