Food photographer Alan Batt feeds off the city's energy with 'Street Eats'
"Alan Batt has done it again.
The famed food photographer, who has put out 'The Colors of Dessert,' 'Small Things Savory' and 'Pies,' is back with his latest creation: 'Street Eats.'
He’s teamed up with more than 150 top chefs to create a cookbook made up of all dishes you can eat entirely with your hands...
And it’s all for a good cause. Batt and the featured chefs, like Anita Lo, Daniel Boulud and Jean-Georges Vongerichten, who wrote the foreword, will debut the book at Batt’s Great Gathering of Chefs on June 5, the proceeds of which will go toward Action Against Hunger.
'This is my way of giving back,' says Batt."
