"Several food festivals created by groups from France are planned for late September. For the fourth year, Le Fooding, a group that takes an irreverent approach to French food and chefs, will come to New York for a series of events, from Sept. 19 to 23. The group has discovered Brooklyn and is calling this year’s program Brooklyn Fling...On Sept. 23 from 7 to 10 p.m. the Brooklyn Flea in Williamsburg will see five teams of chefs and food vendors prepare dishes, with Pierre Hermé making desserts. The cost is $60, $100 for V.I.P. access. Twenty percent of the ticket price supports Action Against Hunger.
