Aid Groups, Experts Find G20 Food Security Plan Lacking

The G20’s multiyear action plan for addressing food security issues has earned praise from Bill Gates and the World Food Program, but some non-governmental organizations said they are largely disappointed with the overall outcome at the leaders’ summit and argue that the plan is lacking.

Benoit Miribel, the president of Action Against Hunger, meanwhile, slammed the meeting as a "missed opportunity" that only glossed over discussions of food security and agricultural policies.
