As tomorrow's world leaders, students possess the unique ability to be powerful agents of change. Thus the participation of students and U.S. schools is integral to the fight against global hunger. Student groups, service organizations and schools-- join us in this fight and help save the lives of those suffering from hunger and malnutrition around the world.

Understanding Hunger

Over 850 million people in the world suffer from hunger today, a staggering figure considering there is enough food in the world to feed everybody. Then why does hunger exist? Who does hunger afflict? What is the world food crisis? Learn the answers to these important questions and about the underlying causes of hunger in the world from Action Against Hunger's Understanding Hungerseries.
