Job Objectives:
- To follow up the implementation of Action contre la Faim nutrition activities and the respect of Action contre la Faim protocols through visits of the programs, meetings with programs managers and key staff, analysis of monthly reports
- To give a feed back to the program managers on observations made and define relevant objectives with them when necessary
- To readjust, readapt, reorient protocols and programs when needed
- To evaluate their strengths and weaknesses and support them accordingly through trainings, feed back on monthly reports, definition of objectives…
- To participate to the implementation of new programs if necessary
- To promote the capitalisation and implementation of the remote approach in the programs (training, team organisation, tools…)
- Give information to the teams about all changes in the protocols…
- Monitoring and analysis of the nutrition situation through nutrition surveys and food security reports, information gathered from other Action contre la Faim departments or stake holders, data of the nutrition programs, health statistics…
- Make propositions for continuation/re-adaptation of Action contre la Faim programs or new programs
- May participate to field evaluations
- To participate to regular coordination meetings
- To participate / organise ad hoc meeting with relevant stake holder
- To share and discuss all relevant information
- To report on programs both internally and externally (mainly concept papers, proposals and reports to donors)
- To write proposals
Qualifications:
- Nurse nutritionist with good medical knowledge and experience
- English is compulsory
