Job Objectives:
Responsibilities:
- Ensure close follow up and successful implementation of Shariatpur project in particular
- Overall food security program development and technical strategy
- Participation to the existing technical working groups at capital level, or at field level if required
- Representation in other meetings in the absence of the head of mission upon request
- Coordination of on-going programs – technical support
- Facilitate coordination between the teams on the field, the program manager and the head of mission
- Compile the technical section of the monthly SitRep and contribute to context analysis. Team and partnership Management
Qualifications:
Qualification and previous experience:
- Minimum five years field experience in food security with integrated approach
- Strong experiences in working in long term oriented (structural) programs in a development context
- Some basic experience in emergency contexts, preferably in natural disaster responses
- Experienced in working with national partner organisations
- Experience in Bangladesh or south Asia context preferred
- University/ Master Degree or equivalent in food security related field, preferably agriculture, or alternatively University/ Master Degree in Development studies with additional food security related certificate/ education
- Background in community participation approach
- English is compulsory
