D'Artagnan and Action Against Hunger created a competition to bring 'Farm-to-Table' to life in New York City! Acclaimed chefs including Anita Lo, Harold Moore, David Waltuck, and more, partnered with farmers to test guests food knowledge in a series of fun and interactive challenges.
Teams of four participated in approximately 25 challenges. Some of them included:
- Chef Shane McBride of Balthazar and Will Homer of Painted Hills Farm challened participants to guess where cuts of meat were located on a map
- Chef Chad Brauze of Rotisserie Georgette and Dalton Ramussen of Modesto Farms quizzed guests on their knowledge of squab husbandry
Specialty food and beverage prizes were awarded to the winning teams.
