Action Against Hunger and UNICEF hosted a panel discussion and cocktail reception in New York on September 24, 2013.
The panel explored the necessary factors and approaches to effectively and sustainably tackle acute malnutrition and overcome existing challenges to their implementation. The panel discussion also identified key advocacy and research gaps in supporting the scale up of comprehensive approaches for the prevention and treatment of acute malnutrition, as well as examined connections to broader frameworks addressing all forms of malnutrition, including the Scaling Up Nutrition Movement and the post-2015 Development Agenda process.
