Le Grand Fooding NY 2012 : "Le Fooding Brooklyn Fling”
Le Fooding is back in NYC for its fourth year, this time announcing its love affair with Brooklyn! International artists, chefs, musicians and friends will collaborate in a five day takeover of the hottest spots in Brooklyn, including Nitehawk Cinema, The Intercourse art space, Brooklyn Flea, and some of the borough's most important restaurants.
This incredible series of events launches with “Le Clicquot Brooklyn Tour”: 4 dinners, with flowing champagne, with stops at different Brooklyn hotspots, where local chefs will join hands with their international “Brooklyn – minded” alter egos.
The second great happening of Le Fooding Brooklyn Fling takes place on September 22nd and 23rd: “Darkness with a Chance of Piperade”. Indulge in a caffeine-infused brunch while enjoying a Brooklyn movie classic at the Nitehawk Cinema.
If you’re in the mood for a Saturday and Sunday afternoon stroll, Le Fooding invites you to go to an exquisite picnic at the Fort Greene and Williamsburg locations of the Brooklyn Flea. “The Luncheon in the Dust” will be an avant-garde homage to vintage food. Chefs will bring back to life old-school recipes and will offer them to the public showing that, under the "dust" of these vintage dishes, great ideas still remain.
Le Fooding Brooklyn Fling ends with an unforgettable “Campfire Session” at the Williamsburg Flea Market… Featuring a sensational musical line-up (Mike D, Dave One of Chromeo and many more!) set in collaboration with Downtown Records, as well as creative cocktails and culinary creations from various local food vendors and international chefs (such as Pierre Hermé, the Picasso of pastry!) to be enjoyed during the show.
20% of each ticket sold goes to Action Against Hunger.
|Date:||September 19th- September 23rd|
