Sixth Annual Great Gathering of Chefs

The annual Great Gathering of Chefs, now in its sixth successful year, celebrates the release of Alan (Battman) Batt’s two newest cookbooks: “Pasta” and “Pudding.” Battman’s books unite exquisite photography with delectable recipes created by some of the most influential American chefs. All proceeds from the evening benefit Action Against Hunger’s life-saving programs.

At the event, which brings together over 150 renowned chefs, guests can both mingle with culinary masters and sample delicious cuisine from the cookbooks. Last year’s chefs included Gina DePalma of Babbo, Johnny Iuzzini of Jean Georges, Nancy Olson of Gramercy Tavern, Joe Calderone of Serendipity, Della Gossett of Charlie Trotter's, and Marc Taxiera of The Russian Tea Room. To top it off, participants will share the launch of The Chef’s Connection, a social networking website showcasing interviews with chefs, special events, tales from the kitchen, and more.
