Olivier Cassegrain joins Action Against Hunger's Board of Advisors
Action Against Hunger proudly announces its newest advisory board member, Olivier Cassegrain, Managing Director of Longchamp USA. Olivier Cassegrain, a long time supporter of Action Against Hunger, has worked with Longchamp for seven years - two years in Paris and five years in New York City. Prior to joining Longchamp, Mr. Cassegrain has had experience in the hotel industry, specifically in Bora Bora Hotel Lagoon Resort in Tahiti, French Polynesia, for one year and Hotel de Crillon in Paris for three years. He also worked at the Palais de L'Elysee (President's House in Paris) for one year. He graduated from Centre International de Glion, in Switzerland.
Longchamp is a high quality leather goods, luggages, handbags and fashion accessory store. Longchamp has flagship stores in international cities such as Paris, New York City, San Francisco, and Tokyo. Longchamp USA recently opened up stores in Coral Gables, Palm Beach, Boston, and San Francisco, just to name a few.
Mr. Cassegrain said, "I first learned about Action Against Hunger from Burt Haimes, ACF's Chairman of the Board, and decided to join its Board of Advisors, because it is such a fundamental cause. There is no incentive or getting back when you give to hunger. It's the purist form of giving to children, women and men who are dying of severe acute malnutrition. It's a gift of life. What I appreciate the most about Action Against Hunger is that it finds long term solutions through self-sustaining programs. I am proud of the lasting partnership Longchamp has with Action Against Hunger."
